Ellie Swainhart

(she / her)

Ellie began dancing at age 14 and continued her training at the University of Florida (UF) where she received her BFA in Dance with a minor in Business Administration. While at UF, Ellie was selected to perform in faculty works choreographed by Trent D. Williams Jr., Elizabeth Johnson, Dante Puleio, and Mohammed DaCosta. Most notably, she performed in the first co-ed restaging of José Limón’s The Traitor. In 2019, Ellie was cast in Dante Puleio’s original work, The Persistence of Time, and performed at WHITE WAVE Dance Festival in Brooklyn, NY. Outside of UF, Ellie enjoyed developing her artistry by working closely with Tiffany Rae-Fisher and Enzo Celli, among others, while completing the Steps Summer Study. Upon graduation, she continued her training virtually by completing both the LimónPro and LimónLaunch programs. Ellie eagerly anticipates meeting and dancing in-person with her fellow L2 artists!
